Stitching on the Lake March 5th

We had another lovely day of stitching last Saturday. It was a little bit too hot but that didn't stop everyone enjoying some friendship, great food and some stitching. Here we are all ready for another great day.

We didn't end up having our photo taken but here we are at home on the night before, after we had set it all up.
Hobbysew came once again with a very tempting stall.

The food was a highlight. Morning tea was cucumber sandwiches and delicious shortbread. Lunch was a yummy spinach filo pie and salad and afternoon tea was a cake called Tres leches. It was so good!!!!!

As you wander around it is lovely to see some beautiful sewing notions. These pin cushions caught my eye. This is gorgeous cross stitch and the other is a liberty crown from Liberty of London!

Lovely to see the candlewicking done in different colours, The perle 5 variations look particularly special.

It is always inspiring to see the show and tell. Such clever ladies!

Thanks to Lynne and Sammi for the lovely food and to Hobbysew for bringing part of the shop for us to enjoy. And a special thank you to the ladies who came along to make the two days so special.
