We then had a look at a park called Fell Foot Park, right on the edge of Windermere.
After lunch we visited another garden called Stagshaw Garden. There were gorgeous views of the lake here.
In the afternoon we realised that a lovely National Trust Farm called Townend was nearby so we just had to go. It was very special. It was near Troutbeck where we camped all those years ago.
On Saturday, 6th May, we packed up and set off for the Peak District. We visited two nice towns on the way, Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle. It was great to finally reach our lovely accommodation at Uppergate Farm.
